3 Tips on Creating a Fit Lifestyle

1. Be Active every day. Try to walk/hike for at least 15 minutes! There really is no secret to creating a fit lifestyle. Basically, get up and move! You will be surprised what 15 minutes can do for your mind and body! You can feel energized, fresh, sharp, and more positive minded.  Start today!

2. Find a workout buddy and someone to go on regular walks with. A partner will help to hold you accountable and motivate you when you need it. Share your workout schedule with a friend each week and see if you can schedule a workout together. You will even get more pleasure from the social aspect of it, and it won’t feel like such a chore.

3. Set an alarm every hour  to get up and walk around, do some stretches or even a few exercises! Sitting for long periods of time is unhealthy and may cause health problems. Maintain healthy circulation and help prevent muscle imbalances by getting up an being active as often as possible. When you are creating a fit lifestyle, try your very best to be mobile as much as possible.

Consider getting a tread desk or a stand up desk for work! My husband bought a tread desk this year and he says it was the best investment he ever made for his health!
