- Add it to your morning Coffee. You could try the Butter Oil Coffee I like (MCT Oil, Grass-fed Butter, and coffee, blended in a blender). I currently use coconut oil, unsalted grass-fed butter, and coffee, blended in my Vitamix and it is amazing!
- Another way to add Coconut Oil into your diet is by adding it to your Soup or cooking with it.
Coconut Oil has many incredible health benefits. It will help with weight loss and detoxification! You might experience symptoms and need to cut back the amount of coconut oil you are using. Start with 1/2 teaspoon twice a day and increase to 1 teaspoon after a couple days. The important part is to slowly increase. Coconut oil has anti-viral, anti-microbial, and anti-fungal properties. Your symptoms might be caused from the detoxification process.
You should feel stable energy levels from the healthy fats in coconut oil. This stabilized energy will prevent you from crashing mid morning or craving carbs. It is your first baby step to introducing healthy fats and reducing your carb intake!
